This seven-foot African sorcerer began as a vintage nude female mannequin. However, like all art, sometimes the long journey takes an abrupt turn and I simply followed the voice. This dynamic resolution brought fortune in the form of the medicine man, a magical sorcerer.
His amalgamation of antique accouterments is endless. eBay was a treasure trove of skulls, war weapons, arrows, daggers, masks, African trade beads, a civil war prosthetic leg, and a tattooed painted left arm off a mannequin. The antique carved monkey skull with trade beads is from Borneo. Snakeskin cowboy boots are from Texas and the porcupine quills are from Zimbabwe.
